We went to the Fountain Court tonight for a meal after recommendations from a friend. We had the carvery. It was delicious. Will definitely be going back. The staff are so lovely and attentive. OK the hotel is a bit run down but look past that. We'll worth a visit.

After the reviews on here we were a little worried about what to expect upon arrival, however despite its exterior we were pleasantly surprised. The owners were friendly and accomodating with our requirements. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was not included in the price, but you had the option to purchase this in the morning. It was a self service and plenty of choice to keep you going for the day. We also stayed for Carvery one evening and this was lovely home cooked food and great value for money. Drink prices were reasonable. Would definately stay again if coming down to the new forest again.

Popped in for breakfast and was truly amazed at how professional and welcoming the staff were. Even though it was 5 minutes before the end of breakfast the staff went out of there way to make sure fresh bacon, eggs, hash browns and other condiments where made fresh for the all you can eat serving hatches. It’s service like this that creates lifetime custom.
