Food alright, children place ok. Monster steak is really huge and cooked as I ordered (medium rare). Burger meat very tasty. Only thing, we were unable to order full rack of ribs, only half's :/ But overall experience above standard. We will visit again for sure.
Yet another new Manager but he seems to be the best yet! Lets hope he can turn this pub round to make it the heart of the village which it so desperately needs! Good luck Recently had a meal which was cheap and cheerful with no complaints!
This place is a god-send. We have three children which means that combining going somewhere that the children like and somewhere where we can choose what we want to eat are limited, however, The Mill House does the job perfectly!
Admittedly you are not going to find a Porterhouse Steak or Dom Perignon on the menu, but when you can spend as little as £40 for a family of five over three courses and drinks you won't find me complaining. The 'Diet Burger' is always a joy to dig into (it is so big it is served on a slab of wood that could be used as a dining table! There are plenty of options on the menu to keep most people happy.
The play areas inside and out for the kids are excellent, the staff are human - sometimes they are stressed, sometimes the food takes a longer time to arrive - but they are always polite and keep you informed. The manager cares about his pub and his customers, and that is all I want from a pub!
Not sure why there are so many bad reviews on here. I guess people turned up not knowing that this is a family-friendly pub?
