We missed “home cooked food”and was hunting for one close to home and we found Tang’s after few attempts. When they served me and I looked at the texture of the rice and I know this is the right one!
1. Their ginger chicken with rice and vegetable soup for lunch are super good and almost 100% close to our home cooked food.
Highly recommended!
Excellent service and tasty food. We opted for the buffet (£26.95 each, minimum of 2 people). We went for 7 starters, and then 5 mains; this was a good amount, although I assume they adjust portions depending on how many you pick, but you can order more after if you've still got some room! The duck starter in particular was very good and a generous portion too (see photo). Everything was fresh and had great flavour. Sometimes when having Chinese food you can come away spending the rest of the evening needing lots of water (because of the high salt and/or msg) but this wasn't one of those times, so a big plus there as far as I'm concerned. If you opt for the buffet, order tap water (or anything else without bubbles!) to drink so you can make the most of trying out lots of the different food options. There's plenty of bars nearby to go after for a drink once some of that food has gone down!
Had the buffet option in the evening. It’s great because you can try a lot of different things. Also a whole veggie menu. We had 7 starters and 4 mains between the 2 of us. Good size potions and left a good amount of full.
