Excellent experience at Mumbai emperor, pickle tray was different than I’ve had before some sort of fruit instead of red onion chutney was very nice though, onion Bahji were best I’ve had in a long time chicken Kadai was perfectly spiced definitely recommend and I’d definitely come back if in town again
A hidden gem of a restaurant so to speak. In a town that boasts many curry restaurants in one area, this probably would go unnoticed especially to a tourists.
As a local on the other hand word of mouth being what it is it is well known in this small town.
Very light fresh atmosphere and the staff are attentive and fun characters.
The food was refreshing and very tasty. An enjoyable experience all round.
Don't hesitate to try this place
The Mumbai Emperor is an Indian Restaurant inside a previously old, converted pub. It's spacious with high ceilings and decorated in a tasteful, modern and traditionally eclectic fashion. I particularly love the hanging plants in macrame hangers and wall murals. I recommend the food which is really tasty. The atmosphere, whilst eating, is nice however I find authentic Indian music more in keeping than the pop music often played.
