We recently stayed overnight and had an evening meal and breakfast. The restaurant's surroundings are like an oasis of calm and the restaurant itself is full of lovely, detailed touches. The food we had was excellent and Chris and Jane were great hosts. Our room was very comfortable. I think a lot of care and attention goes into everything and we are certainly planning to return.

We had the most delicious meal here, it was all so tasty. The vegetables with our meal were amazing! Then we had two puddings each and they were divine. To finish off the mini mince pie just melted in the mouth. Such a friendly atmosphere and lovely service, as my friend said 'That was the best meal I have ever had'.

An excellent meal as always. We have enjoyed Jane's cooking for 15 years and have never been disappointed. Crispin and Sue are great hosts too. Although we didn't stay overnight this time, we have in the past and can highly recommend the accommodation too. We look forward to our next meal!
