Lovely pub. Remote but walkable into Skipton via a public path followed by housing estate. Would be helpful if more buses during set months. Not everyone has a car or access to one. The rooms were lovely with no faff TV remote to turn on TV and easy shower where a dial was turned for cool or hot shower. Very hospitable staff. I enjoyed my stay immensely.
Stayed at the Craven Heifer Inn last night and although it's decor I feel was dated, it certainly has everything you need for a lovely stay. Great twin bedroom was lovely and warm on arrival , good shower/bathroom. The inn and bedrooms are spotless and the staff especially the young woman with ponytail (sorry didn't get her name) who served us in the dining room this morning was really friendly & hospitable.
Lots of nods to the past with pictures and farming tools. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend and revisit . The only downside, a little out of the way for the Skipton town but a taxi was only £6. We could have walked it easily but my dog is old boy now. Breakfast was gorgeous and very well presented as was the help yourself breakfast or fruit juices, danish, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal. Really good break the views from the Inn is also beautiful.
Lovely 2 night break over valentine's day . Superb value for money. Stayed in a standard room . Nice medium ish mattress. Coffee & tea facilities. TV . Plug in radiator to heat the room . Which was enough. We were very comfortable. Accommodation could maybe do with a little tlc . But we very much enjoyed our stay here . The breakfast for absolutely fantastic. Large car park . ( Watch out for the pot holes in the dark ) Thanks to the girls at breakfast time and later in the day . They were lovely. Excellent service, with lots of smiles all round . Top stuff . Would definitely recommend. Would definitely stay here again . Had a wonderful break away . Excellent location in Yorkshire.
