The Board Inn is a nice village, pub. There is an excellent selection of beers, lager and cider, including three hand-pulled cask conditioned rael ales when I called in. It's a nice cosy, welcoming pub. I didn't have anything to eat but the menu looks very good. The pub has a large car park and a nice beer garden with plenty of tables and seating. Great beer definitely recommended.
We have had lunch at the Board Inn on two occasions and found the food to be good. The staff are helpful and friendly. The atmosphere has been good with a mixture of locals and holiday makers and the pub is dog friendly.
This is my current fave pub. A fantastic mix of chilled proper pub with a very nice rustic restaurant in a conservatory. The staff are excellent. Landlord in particular. Can't do enough for you. We go with our 3 dogs as often as we can when we're there.

This place is still a must! Service is great, the food is amazing and the staff are some of the nicest people you could want. The garden is awesome and a great sun trap. Just go, you won't be disappointed.
