Was here for a funeral function. Staff, were all polite, attentive and professional. Food served was good quality but went too quickly. They allowed us to stay way beyond the hire time and then served an evening meal in the function room. The food was a good standard and waiting staff and bar staff were great dealing with the unplanned dinner guests of 20 +. I stayed the night. My room was clean and comfortable with everything needed for a good sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Well done to the Lord Hill Hotel for making a very sad occasion memorable and enjoyable. Goodbye Sheila Evans. You will be missed by everyone.

We had such a wonderful wedding day and evening here. They did an excellent job of making our day so special! As an ex employee i knew that they would make our day special and they excelled in this! I would recommend the lord Hill Hotel for any occasion they do an excellent service! Thank you so much for all that you did for us in making our day so special!

Was there for one night for my 60th birthday there was 4 of us wished we had stayed longer the food was amazing so tasty and freshly cooked the staff friendly and very helpfull especially our waiter matt . would definitely stay there again .
