I come here once a month for a quiet treat for myself when my daughter is at school & also a treat some days for my daughter and it's the best fish & chips to relax. Fish ,chips, mushy peas,bread & butter with a wee cupa... can't ask for more. If you need a bit of quiet time to enjoy your food then come here as the food is lovely ... & staff are nice too. Will be bringing my daughter here as she grows up as long as its here .

Best fish and chips in the area by far and great value. Very few fish and chip places these days will get you fish, chips, mushy peas, breadcake, AND a drink for £9.90. Banging.

The best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Visited Shipley for a clinical test appointment and noticed this place across the road. Thought I'd give it a shot and it was the best decision I've made in a while. The fish was so tasty and held together superbly by a crispy golden batter. The chips tasted fresh and the mushy peas were spot on. The fish cake might have been the best I've ever had and I've eaten many. The potato was soft, the fish flaky and delicious, the batter just like the fish. Reasonably priced and no extra charge for eating in unlike many places plus the place is staffed by friendly and polite people.
