Fabulous cafe with by far the best chowder I’ve had in a long time if not ever!! Really welcoming and kind when we turned up with two very tired, hungry and somewhat disruptive children earlier this week. They brought the children’s food out super fast and gave them coloring in books to ease the wait. Thank you for your kindness and understanding. We returned today to sample more of the menu and were not disappointed!! Yummy scones and squat lobster sandwich....I couldn’t resist another helping of the fabulous chowder � I would definitely recommend a stop in this beautiful village and cafe.

Delicious ice cream (Capaldi's of Brora is an excellent make) and one of the best apple cake ever tasted (with caramelized apples and cinnamon). Tea is made with loose tea leaves, which make all the difference. Gorgeous setting overlooking Shieldaig Loch. The seafood menu looked appealing too. A great place to refuel!

Nanny's is a beautiful, cosy cafe in the most magnificent setting at the waterfront of Shieldaig. Lovely service, the staff are all so friendly and accommodating! I highly recommend a stop here if you are passing through North Coast 500. I really loved Mya's popup restaurant in the evening using fresh locally sourced seafood with an Asian twist! Delicious! Hope she will do it again soon!
