It’s a takeaway so I can’t really comment on the atmosphere. However, I never need to repeat details and on occasion when I have been ill they always offer good wishes and sometimes advice. Ordering by phone is simply and straightforward. Delivery is very fast and the drivers are always polite. Oh, and the food is tasty too and arrives very hot.
Very reliable chinese! Been a few times always been tasty and hot. Lovely staff too. Alot cheaper to order direct.

I used to live across the road on City Rd from NEW JUMBO Chinese Takeaway back in 2004. Fast forward 18 years, I came back to have another Meal For One, one last time! (or may be a Dinner Box)... At least I was going to grab a few Pork Balls for the road!
Number #1 buffet is dead and buried. Jumbo (the one in town) has been renamed. NEW JUMBO still stands tall and proud!
When times got you down, you felt the world was against you or you even needed to line your stomach before a big night out, then New Jumbo always had you covered! They even let you swap the soup on the meal for one. Those were the best of times!
Today, I rekindled some of those cherished memories!
