Part of the Millennium gardens complex, this is a fairly big airy cafe overlooking Arundel gate.
We called in for lunch, it was busy but there were a few tables free. Food offerings are in the range of sandwiches, sausage rolls, etc and sweet treats, scones, flapjack, etc.
Sandwiches are order at the counter and then it's brought out to your table. Although busy we didn't have too long to wait. Will go back for further visits.
A lovely toasted New Yorker with pastrami and gherkins. Plus a cinnamon bun and an Americano. Not cheap, but tasty. Fabulous cool views in the warm sunny weather.
A nice café, near the train station, at the entrance of the millennium gallery.
The interior of the café is very nice, there is an emphasis on a flowery vibe with a cyan and pink colour code. The café has a window facade.
There is a lot of seating available. The café is definitely not as busy as Tamper Sellers Wheel so no wait needed.
The staff who was taking my order at the till seemed to be new and didn’t seem to know how to use the till properly because she asked her colleague for advice.
I ordered the Eggs Royale which costed £10.50, not the cheapest Eggs Royale I must say but it tasted nice.
The canton earl grey which costed £2.50, was a standard earl grey tea.
Overall, a good location and not a bad experience. The price for the meal wasn’t great.
