Booked this place for a friend visiting for the night. He joined my wife and I for our dinner in the pub and we ate the most amazing Home Made Meat & Potato Pie fresh from the oven with fresh vegetables at an unbelievable price £8.95 for a massive plate. Our friend said his en-suite room was clean and comfortable, he slept like a baby. The staff were very helpful and he thought the locals were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended

Fab old fashioned pub, used by across section of the community. Proper home cooked food, friendly atmosphere with live music on Saturday nights. Long may it continue.
