My husband and I stayed at Whitley Hall for 3 nights to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary on September 17th. First impressions driving down the long drive was just wow! Gorgeous building and grounds, so secluded and quiet and yet just 10mins off the motorway. Reception staff greated us with a warm and friendly smile and gave us all the information we needed. Our room was stunning, with views over the lake, regular sightings of the peacocks (2 sets of babies as well!!) and we even saw a heron and kingfisher! We particularly loved the thick stone walls around the windows with lovely seating so you can watch the gardens and wildlife.
Dinner & breakfast was included in our stay and wow... fantastic choice and delicious food! We really liked having a drink and looking at the menu in the lounge area before being taken through to our table, where dinner was then served straight away. (The banana parfait & toffee sauce was probably the best thing we've ever eaten!!)
Breakfast was just as special with some really lovely dishes aside from the "full English".
The staff were all brilliant. Always happy to help and go above and beyond.
Absolutely fantastic stay! We will definitely be back (Christmas time hopefully).

We had our wedding day here on the 1st september. I can't thank the staff enough they really did make our day special. From the day we booked to the day of the wedding they couldn't do enough for us. The food was absolutely beautiful all we got was complaiments from our guests. I wouldn't change a single moment of our day and can't thank Whitley Hall enough for making our day perfect. I would highly recommend for any special occasion.
