That evening, we didn’t want to venture too far from the hotel for dinner in case it started to rain again. The town was pretty quiet and we stumbled across Jasmine, a curry house in Regent Street. After such a cold and wet day, a warming curry was just what we needed. The weather did seem to play a part on the number of diners eating in – there were a few tables but they seemed to be doing a roaring takeaway trade. The menu featured the usual suspects that we all love from a British curry house.
The food elevates the Indian taste to another level. You can tell by the flavour of the food that the dishes are freshly done with high quality ingredients.
The restaurant is spotless clean.
The service was great.
The staff was friendly.
Excellent value for the money.
They don’t do lassis, though.
I wish I could live near to come often here.
Good, enjoyable food but sadly, not nearly hot enough, but, to be fair, the place was very busy. Only two staff was insufficient. It was felt around the table, that to complain would have put them under even more pressure. Other than that, very good! 😁
