Decent little Fish and Chip shop. All of the waitresses were (The) Pretty Things and not a single one had Bad Manners. They came over and took our order promptly. It cost about £30 for two fish and chips, curry sauces and a couple of drinks. We paid the waitress at our table, I think she was a Blondie. There was no (The) Jam listed on the menu and I didn't see if they had any (The) Specials or child's portions although there were plenty of Small Faces in there. Loads of parking for your (The) Lambrettas or (The) Cars.
Restaurant is done out in a mod theme, red white and blue and is pretty funky. I suppose you could say it's an Oasis of calm from shopping. 😉
We have visited a number of times now, always friendly and welcoming.
Food is top level stuff, the batter is amazing.
You can even get poached or pan fried cod, have to say pan fried is equally high quality to the battered.
Food is superb I guarantee this will be in your top 5 best fish and chips.
They also do great parmesans and jacket potatoes (see my photos)
Gets busy around 12 but we were there early at opening (11am currently)
Excellent table service, very caring staff who must enjoy working here as it shows.
I have never been in a fish in chips restaurant with so much quality! Starting from the staff that are extremely engaged, helpful and friendly. I could see that they served my family and I because they love that, not because they are paid for.
I need to mention as well how spotless this place is, I saw the staff cleaning floor, tables and all things so well, that felt like home!
Chefs and people inside the kitchen are definitely doing their best, we can notice that on fresh food. Fish and chips, fish fingers, patties and onion rings are delicious and not greasy as majority of fish and chips. We felt the flavours of all and everything cooked so well.
I want to thank you the great people that work there to serve my family and I with so much love and kindness. I highly recommend this place and I definitely will be back.
