I had one wish today and that was to spend my birthday with my family, on a beach, on the Isle of Wight eating fish and chips and drinking Prosecco! Husband was searching for a decent beach with a fish and chip shop nearby on trip advisor and Salty Willy's came up. As soon as I heard the name and then read the reviews I knew we had to go there! While it wasnt conventional fish and chips it was a fantastic alternative. We all had battered fish goujons and potatoes - absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked, the batter was so lovely and light. My only regret is that because we were so intent on having fish and chips on the beach we didn't get to try something more adventurous from the menu, like the Cajun prawns but we will certainly be back on our next visit to the island. You certainly helped make this birthday girl very happy today - thank you!
This place is street food perfection, so fresh tasting with such a friendly and genuine welcome from the owners. We are planning a return visit already and think the menu is great and so are the prices. The quality of the food is outstanding and such a hidden treasure on the island you should not miss.
Amazing place lovely staff and lovely food. You must try the vampire sauce if you like it hot. Great prices also will use again. Thank you masons Coach driver
