More than a village café, it’s real foodie destination! The menu is so well put together by the chef-owner and his wife, with an emphasis on global flavours. We enjoyed Crispy Baja Fish Tacos with sweet potato fries and curtido as well as Lobster & Crayfish roll with truffled pecorino cheesy fries and slaw. The homemade lemonades were fab. Coffee, tea and vic sponge for dessert. Lots of seating outside. Recommend ringing them to book as it’s a popular spot.
We visited here on a Monday morning for breakfast and it was busy when we arrived, which was great. They have the most amazing menu, I wanted to try everything! I went for the eggy crumpets which were absolutely delicious. My partner had the wild mushroom melt bagel with ham and he loved it. The service was excellent, we were in and out in 45 minutes which was good as we had somewhere to be. It was a lovely place to spend some time. It's a shame it was raining as the outside area looked lovely. You must go here!
BTW, the sausage rolls are only £3 and looked delicious. Imagine feeling so entitled that you moan about a cafe charging you for milk! 🤪
This place is awesome! The enormous menu seems to comprise only really tasty plates. Large portions, unusual combinations, and smiling service have always been in excellent supply here.
Chips! Have the chips! I had only an odd this-and-that salad, but it was extremely satisfying (and I had half of Emma's chips). And the shopping... well, that's another review altogether.
