We were very lucky to get a place for two walk ins at 7pm on a Saturday night and luckily we were seated on stools at a bar near the door. The waitress noticed we were cold and closed the door for us. After we navigated the enormous menu the waitress took our large order. We ordered several dishes from the menu to share and they all arrived one after the other as we ate. Every dish was great and some were exceptional, highlights are the pork belly yakktori, mixed fish ceviche and okonomoyaki. The venue has a great atmosphere, service was brilliant, food was cooked wonderfully and everything priced very reasonably. This is maybe my favourite Japanese restaurant now. Portion sizes were huge, some of my photos are taken after half was eaten, kept forgetting as they looked so good we just dove in. Thanks for an awesome meal and evening! Book in advance….
We had a great time at this restaurant, the atmosphere was great, the service was lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. The chicken Katsu and Takoyaki are an absolute must try! We will soon be back!
Been wanting to come here for a while, so very glad to have finally gotten the chance. Came as a group of four for dinner on a Saturday evening. It's fairly small inside so it would be best to book a table in advance.
We ordered a Sakura platter to share between 2 people each, a good choice if you don't know where to start as the menu all looked great. To add to the platter we ordered a chicken, and a pork belly yakitori. Between the four of us two platters, and two sets of yakitori/gyoza was enough to satisfy us, but could easily have had more myself!
There was not a single bad part of the meal, it was all 10/10 so I will definitely be returning as soon as I can.
