been in this pub few times, the service was friendly, the quality of meals were basic , with that price you are not expecting too much. chips were crispy, chicken wings were plenty. beaware some meals are including drinks. good selection of drinks and their prices were low. guinness was £2.58 a pint. other pubs in peak district you won't even get half a pint. tea and coffee are refillable it was only £1.02.
Great little Spoons doing brisk business - all seats taken. CAMRA offer each Wednesday after 19:00 - all cask £1.88 a pint
Was a wonderful sunny day so we decided to take a walk to here and grab a bite to eat . Was not too busy for the weekend and didn't take long to be served at the bar.
We ordered some drinks and 2 mixed grills ,the staff was very friendly and helpful. The mixed grill was on offer and got so much for your money all was cooked perfect.
We will surely be coming again if in the area it was relaxed and everyone was having a laugh and a good time.
