One of my three favourite regular haunts for a bus trip (X43 and 464), and a full English. Staff very welcoming, service and food have always been great and the atmosphere is relaxing. It's right next to the bus stop, and afterwards, over the road is the start of an interesting one mile walk up the Glen, via the tunnels. Perfect.
Slight mix up with the order which slowed down but it was all sorted quickly enough. Food was lovely and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the homely, warm and welcoming experience.
I really love this place. It's not very big but it's kind staff, choice of food, ambience, cleanliness makes it a hugely delightful place to go! Be sure to book a table as lunchtime gets very busy. High chairs available and there are paintings, some jewellery and other locally made crafts to buy (cash only). Reasonable parking and a small children's play area nearby. There's only one wc which is a slight drawback but highly recommended. Ray could DEFINITELY be a Yorkshireman!!!😀
