Cost kept down with BYO drink but the quality of food doesn't suffer; their garlic bread with cheese is the best I've ever tasted. From the outside it looks like a cafe and the decor inside is basic, but the service and food quality is 2nd to none. Always a favourite with us...

The hidden gem of Haslingden. Looks like a cafe from outside and inside, but there is a full size catering kitchen and 2 real professionals running the place. Very informal and fun atmosphere and only 22 covers means its small. I've never had a bad meal here and I love their chicken livers. Italian garlic bread to die for... Popular spot so booking is advisable. Modest prices and BYO, so a cheap date!
