Brilliant little coffee shop. The staff were friendly and polite. The food was great and the cappuccino was exceptional. Will definitely go back when I’m next in Rochester.
Absolutely awesome coffee shop with super friendly staff. I hope to visit again next time I visit Rochester. Their Latè is one of the best I had in my time.
Deaf Cat Coffee is a quirky and cosy cafe in Rochester, opposite the cathedral. They have their own unique blend of coffee, roasted locally, and a variety of cakes, sandwiches, and snacks. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is quick and efficient. The cafe has a nice atmosphere, with art and books on display. They also have outdoor seating, which is great for sunny days. I always have the peach iced tea, which is really refreshing and tasty. They sell two kinds of iced tea, tonic and joe tea bag, both of which are delicious. I would highly recommend Deaf Cat Coffee to anyone who loves coffee, tea, or art.
Cafe serving premium coffee, teas, hot chocolate etc. Plus cold drinks and various baked and cakes.Located in Rochester High St.
Medium sized seating area with some soft seating plus tables and chairs. A couple of small tables outside.
Inside they have collections of tea and coffee pots on the wall, it's dimly lit which kind of gives it a cozy feeling. My dark chocolate mocha was very enjoyable. I didn't have anything to eat on this occasion but have tried cake there before and found it good.
We enjoyed our frappes. Atmosphere and decor is original and it's a very pleasant environment. Service is friendly and good. We will definitely come here again on a day trip to Rochester.
If you're looking for a coffee shop in Rochester make sure you stop here! Premium tasting coffee, an array of sandwiches and cakes and quality service to boot! As a regular customer I can say without a shadow this is the place to come whether its to sit and read your book, work or if your out with the family. This is a coffee shop with character!
Lovely place for nice meet up and chat with friends.
The coffee and atmosphere is very good.
Great coffee, better music
The staff there are very nice and friendly. Quite on top of things and well-organised. The vegan options are pretty good, including a really delicious vegan cheese panini (we shared 3 between the 2 of us because they were so good), and vegan options for drinks. The best thing about this place is the 90s alternative music - great songs. I'm constantly getting distracted from my conversation by the intro to one of my favourite songs 😁
Friendly staff at a cute location, good music not too loud. I predominantly drink Espresso, and would say it's strong and a tad bitter, but better than other chain coffee shops. Some simple but good sandwich and drinks selections. The seating could been improved for aesthetic, but overall a good choice to stop for a coffee and my go-to if I'm in town.
Easily the best coffee shop in Rochester. I always pop in for tea and cake when I'm passing. Lots of tasty vegan and vegetarian options available too. Staff are lovely, always friendly and welcoming.
Been a few times. Coffee shops are expensive really but you know the deal and they've always got nice cakes, savouries and pastries.
Pleasant service and nice surroundings. Less raucous than many others. I like that
I have a disability and the wonderful staff were very helpful and accommodating. Wonderful range of food and beverages and tables outside to enjoy the sunshine and the scenery historic Rochester has to offer. By far the most beautiful and friendly Cafe in Rochester high street and amazing staff that are happy to help. Well done all at Deaf Cat 🐈 from Lucky
