A fantastic little find. Unassuming (and even a little tacky-looking) from the outside, it takes only a few minutes from stepping through the door to feel as if one is in France. Polite, friendly French staff, excellent and interesting food (I had bonito tartare with a mango, cucumber and avocado salad as a starter, for example, although they also do a number of French classics). The wine list is also rather impressive.
It's a shame for them that it's a little off the main drag, but it's only a short walk and only serves to make it feel more snug and special. Highly recommended.
Great French restuarant. Food is amazing and the venue is romantic and authentic. The food is well presented and most of the staff are French so gives you full experience. Unfortunately they closing soon as owner is retiring.
This is incredible value, exquisite food. Three courses of top quality food for £37. Cheese course for additional £9 and amazing cheeses. The camembert brulee entree was fantastic, as was the roast duck main. Also tried the wild boar terrine for entree. Superb. Service was impeccable, but not pretentious. Serves were generous. Real food, done well.
