The very best fish and chips I have had In a Very long time! So beautiful. Not 1 old over done chip, all freshly cooked!
Too many chip shops refry lunch time chips and there awful!

We Travelled 334 mls from Manchester to See Family and the 1st Meal we have on a Friday Evening is a Trip to "Darren's Chippy" and as Per Usual we are Met by the Friendly Girl's who take our Order.. Every Time we are Made feel Welcome as if they know us.. they Take our Order and we're off.. EVERY TIME, We have an Excellent Fish Supper.. 4 Different Dishes, each as Tasty as each other, Fantastic Food, Good Company, who could ask for More... Thank You "Darren's Chippy" for Starting our Summer Holiday..

Lovely Fish & chips but the star of the show for me was the HomeMade Fish cakes.
Staff were really friendly helpful.

We'd been told about this place by a lot of people and never heard a bad thing about it, so we thought we'd give it a shot - and it's definitely the new local fish and chips from now on! The batter on the cod is amazing, and the portion sizes are huge! It's good value for your money and the staff were all happy and wish you well as you head out. Will definitely be ordering again soon!
