Best chips I've had in all of Cornwall!
We turned up just after closing time, fortunately for us the lovely lady opened the door and offered us what they had left. Even though the chips may have been standing, understandably as it was the end of the night, they were amazing! Just look at the photos, the batter on the chips is Crispy as so tasty. Highly recommended. Staff were all smiley and friendly, the decor is modern and really nice.
Go get yourself some fish and chips. Your only regret will be eating too much because they taste so good.
First time here recently. Nice and easy to order and pay online and prices are reasonable. Excellent chips, probably the best from a chip shop I've had. Fish was ok. I had the hake, it was maybe a little overcooked, but definitely still tasty.
I had a wait to collect as they were pretty busy, but service was friendly and polite.
I will be ordering from here again 👍🏻
Tight for parking, but I recommend parking at the nearby Flowerpot car park and it's only round the corner.
EDIT: 10/07/23 - Went again for a second time recently, had the plaice and chips special, it was excellent! Fish was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Chips were even better than first time, this will be my regular chippy from now on.
Wonderful local fish and chip shop. Everything fresh, great fish, amazing "special" chips and homemade mushy peas, glorious. Try the grilled sole fillets delicious!
