This review is a bit unfair.
Let me explain. We went to the Owl Centre (which is brilliant) and wanted a coffee and something to snack on.
The Walled Garden cafe looked brilliant, and it is.
The staff were lovely. We ordered our food and drink, sat down and our coffee was brought over. The food and drink were superb, great quality.
The only criticism was the real food wasn’t being served due to them having a wedding on. Now, that’s absolutely fine, but surely, even just a breakfast menu could be sorted when they’re hosting such events. A sausage or bacon bun.
The Walled Garden entrance fee was £4.00 per adult. We didn’t go in. It does look lovely from what you can see from the cafe, but as there was a wedding event on, we didn’t want to pay full price and not see everything.
They do a season pass at £6.00 which we’ll probably do when there’s no event on.
I will update my score when we visit again.
Stunning gardens, lovely spacious indoor/outdoor cafe, great value delicious food and friendly staff : what’s not to love 💕 I took some fab photos here as every turn there’s something lovely to see
