Really lovely food and drinks, the vibe is super authentic and generally a great little boutique/independent cafe. Definitely my new regular. Baby friendly and halal!
Had an amazing brunch at lord Roberts on the green
Food, atmosphere and service all was just perfect
Perhaps my new local? I love this place. It's really pretty, and not what it would be assumed it is when looking from the outside. It has a pub type feel on the outside, but a cosy village cafe type feel with stone concrete floors on the inside.
The staff are lovely, and very attentive and approachable. Service was efficient and we were able to stay past our allocated slot time (we had booked prior) for as long as was necessary, for me and my friends very long overdue catch up!
She had the eggs Benedict, I believe or Royal, and I went for a panini with chicken, mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes. Yum. Only thing I would have wanted was for my milkshake to be thicker for the price, but this is something that was made thicker when I asked if it could, so that was something. My friend said that her hot chocolate was AMAZING, she didn't need to add anything else to it, it was perfect.
I can't wait to visit here again, but in particular in the summer months! There is a park opposite too, so it must be really nice then.
There were different cultures, ethnicities and demographics dining, as I looked around, and also this was reflected in the staff too. Beautiful.
