Stopped at the pie shop on way home on recommendation of a work colleague... Omg I should've stocked up with more. Quite probably the best steak and Ale pie I've ever had. Tender beef in a lovely gravy and fantastic pastry. I just hope the water works require my services again so I can revisit

Absolutely delightful selection of fresh meats and poultry, with very knowledgeable (and patient) butchers. Any question you have, they are happy to answer. Prices are good for the high quality of meat on offer, and you can order specific cuts in advance if needed

Absolute hero's for staying open tonight to make sure everyone queuing got their turkeys and Christmas trimmings. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas to you all. (Great meat all year round too)
