This place without doubt, served the best breakfast ever. My partner had the usual full English breakfast, whereas I had asked for a bacon sandwich on a baguette. Good grief! It was enormous. Lots of thick bacon on a large fresh warm baguette. Fresh ground coffee in A caffiteira also. We were on our way to Cornwall but stayed at Wookey Hole Hotel. Not really had a great breakfast experience just down the road in Wells, so I took to the internet before we even left Sheffield. This Priddy Farm came up. I read the reviews and it sounded amazing. My partner agreed. It took ages to find. My partner may be the better driver (he thinks) but I am the better navigator. However! ..It was the best breakfast EVER. We bought two steak and ale pies as well and had them this evening. Damn delicious they were. I will recommend this place to the hilt. It brought me back to my Grannies farm in Ireland where we also had proper tasting real food. The staff (sorry to mention you last) are outstanding. Helpful to make your visit feel as if you are their most important guest. Ask if you want more tea and coffee free of charge. A plateful of butter portions that my partner used on his toast. I only used one honestly. Personally, I would be happy to pay more for that meal..But that is me. However! It is not posh. ( I couldn't care less ) but the food was awesome. More fool you if you breakfast anywhere else.
What a truely great find. With a few days to find somewhere for brunch on Mother's Day, The Priddy Good Farm Shop went above and beyond accommodating our party of 23!! Customer service and food was superb and it really was a nice way to finish our weekend away. 'The Farmers Wife' was very popular, the bacon and sausages were delicious and a big thumbs up was given for the homemade chips!! The vegetarians amongst us were equally pleased with their brunch, we will certainly be visiting again and hope you got to enjoy a lovely Mother's Day yourself.
Best pies and scotch eggs around. Don't pass this lovely little place by if you are in the area - you will not regret it. If you are staying in the Campsite next door this is the only place to buy your burgers and sausages for the BBQ.
