This cafe is a lovely place, the service is with a smile, the portions are perfect in size and the presentation detailed, maybe a little over portioned sometimes. The staff are very warm & friendly, and when we asked if we could take home what we couldn't eat they were very accommodating and presented us with a proper food take home box, something no other cafe I've been to has ever offered, and in some places such a request would be frowned upon. Parking isn't brilliant, but considering the as the chef cooks everything to order using locally sourced products and makes everything from scratch, the short walk you may have is well worth it. The staff were willing and helpful in moving some chairs and a table so that my friend who was in a wheelchair was able to sit at a table in comfort, however, it is a small establishment, it feels more like a small family home than a business. We have dined there often, and its not uncommon for the staff to refill the pots of tea for free, there is free lime & water available, and table service is provided. The cost is inexpensive for the quality of service & the quantity of food we have received on the several visits we've make, you can order a three course meal that is more than reasonable. I wouldn't consider this a cafe in the normal sense, it is more between a cafe and a small posh restaurant. It's unique in its approach to fine dining. It has become a little niche that we go too at least once or twice a month now.
