Small, cosy, atmospheric tapas bar. Great food. We ate pigs cheeks, baked camembert and sweet potato, Mozzarella and pomegranite salad. Delicious, washed down with a white rioja. Totally recommend for an intimate evening or a fun night with friends. They do z good cocktail. Too. Come snd support this lovely local bar in Castle Road.
We had a very enjoyable evening when we visited Old Tom's. It was our first visit, and certainly not the last.
We sat at our table surrounded by the very crisp and stylish decor which oozes quality and adds to the whole experience of being there.
The initial gin based cocktails were ordered, which were customised to our tastes without any fuss. This carried on into the evening where we ordered another 3 cocktails; 2 of which weren't on the menu but still made to perfection. Top marks to the barman/lady.
Little nibbles were opted for; a pulled porked based one and some bread and olives. Both were tasty.
We ordered one "main" plate and one "side" plate each for our dinners. The menu is small but well proportioned in sense of tastes. For me a small menu means the food coming is going to be good quality and taste excellent. Again, the chef did not disappoint, our meals were excellent and good size. It was just enough for us to be able to fit our desert in.
Overall we had a very good evening, staff were helpful and friendly when questioned and service in general. I recommend this place if you want to have a cocktail filled nibble evening out.
Incredible, creative food and an outstanding range of drinks. If you like gins and whiskies this is a place for you. It's a tapas place but the portions are a decent size.
