After being away from the island for some time I was craving some good Fish and Chips and decided it was a good opportunity to check out Fresh Fried and Crispy. I didn't eat in and my friends ordered so I can't speak for the service or atmosphere but I can definitely say the stand fish and chips is fantastic. I believe the fish was Whiting. The fish was was flaky, fresh and tasty with the batter being light and crispy with a good taste. The chips were lightly seasoned with salt and vinegar to just the right amount. I had a sausage to go along with everything and it was pretty much what I expected. Very F&C shop style, not mind blowing but then it never needed to be. Just a tasty sausage, simple. The whole presentation was great with a really nice and good sized portion with a box to take away. They even threw in a decent size of lemon. Not something every Fish and Chip shop does. Already thinking of when I come back.

This was the best Fish and chips we can remember having. Freshly cooked, in a very pleasant cafe area. The young lad who served us is a credit to the place. Highly recommend.

Best fish and chips in the South by miles, beautiful local fish and proper chippy chips. And you get plenty, and a little lemon wedge. Come on
