Lovely pub with very friendly and helpful staff. Haven't eaten here although the food looks lovely.....the real ales on the other hand I have sampled and I can say they are first class.

I have stayed here many times. Great service, very friendly staff, great food, great stay. Highly recommended. Will be returning in the near future.

This place is beautiful. My room is spacious and very comfortable. The team are friendly, helpful and considerate, offering simple solutions that make a difference. This morning at breakfast, an uncomplicated perfectly cooked full English. I made a passing comment to the waitress that I'd made a mistake doing the suduko puzzle in the paper and was trying to work out where I'd gone wrong. Without missing a beat she offered me a red pen so I could write the new numbers in a different colour. A simple thing I know but to me that shows a great level of care and consideration for the guests needs. I'm enjoying it so much here I've extended my stay.
