The food which I had was a large breakfast was well cooking and hot. The staff was nice and would recommend it and will definitely go back 😃
Thank goodness, after 4 years of walking past this sad neglected & dirty café, I saw the 'Under New Management' sign. I ate breakfast at Rosina's for years until they sadly closed last April. Since then I have been breakfasting at Crumbles which is ok & consistent but you don't quite get the same buzz when the service staff & chef speak only enough English to take your money.
Now Ashley Café has been brought back to life. The owners have spent weeks, gutting, cleaning & revamping this place but that's not the best of it. Value for money is key here (for now at least). For less than 65% of the price of a pint of Amstel less than a mile away you can get a breakfast of sausage, bacon, egg, hash brown, beans or tomato along with a bit of toast & butter AND a mug of tea or coffee. £3! Yes you read it here! Three quid for all that and a smile and a chat. And a read of the paper & a couple of mags. Brilliant! A massive breakfast will only cost £5.50 including your mug tea/coffee.
Beats Crumbles hands down.
So if you're up Ashley Road, Parkstone and are hungry go here between 7 & 4 Mon to Sat.
They do a different roast every day in different sizes & priced accordingly.
It's refreshing to see so many people in there now after years of seeing a miserable old man at a table wishing customers wouldn't come in. He got his wish.
I went back again the same day to get my friend and son fed.
