I visited The Courtyard Tearoom with a friend on Friday 30th June which was national cream tea day! We were there for 9am and had the most delicious cream tea for our breakfast! Apparently this is not frowned upon at this most marvellous establishment for which I was very relieved. The Courtyard is a favourite place of mine and I recommend it very highly. I have eaten A LOT of cream teas and afternoon teas in my time and this is by far the best around. It's got to be tried!!!!

Visited today as a surprise 60th afternoon tea, we had afternoon tea in the ‘snug’. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, food was absolutely delicious totally recommend this tea room. Will defo be visiting again.

The best tea room ever! Whether it's a quick coffee because we're passing, or afternoon tea for a special occasion, we always know you will deliver 100%. An outstanding choice of food & drink and never a problem catering for allergies. And the best thing of all - everything is served with a really friendly smile! �
