I drove past the Druid in for years before deciding to drive up from Wrexham one day. There's something quite enticing about the stone walls, they give the impression of roaring fires and fine ales inside. When I finally made it in the fires were there. It was a lunchtime in the summer so they weren't roaring too hard but the place was still pretty busy and had a pleasant atmosphere. Our baby daughter was made very welcome and the food was the usual pub staple cooked well. They even had a loyalty scheme so you could get a free meal after 5 visits. I will certainly go back. Went for lunch worth some friends, sat outside as the weather was nice. Good menu with plenty of choice, burger was my choice and it was a lovely thick burger with great chips.
