My wife and I have eaten at several Thai places around Plymouth and this one is the best so far. I had a crispy chicken dish and she had a pink noodle soup. The chicken was juicy and moist and the crispy coating was spot-on. It came with a generous portion of rice and had a lovely sauce that combined sweet, salty, sour, and warmth in a mouth-watering delicious way that only Thai food can achieve. The pink soup was gorgeous. It had a full-bodied flavor and was chock-full of seafood including soft and succulent pieces of squid and extra-large plump prawns.
The food was presented beautifully. The wall art was beautiful with a distinctly Thai feel. Where they could really up their game, I believe, is with improving the warmth and feel of the place overall: it is a small restaurant with tile floors, wall-mounted sockets, exposed wiring running along corners, plain white upper walls, and fluorescent tube lighting running along the ceiling. In short, it looks like a chip shop. If they put down some inexpensive hard-wearing carpet, recessed the sockets and buried the wiring nicely inside the walls, pulled down the fluorescent tubes and put in some large, attractive, recessed LED lights, and painted the walls a warmer color it would help the place feel more worthy of the lovely wall art that they have and would feel like a place you would want to bring a date rather than the current cold decor that currently exists. Having said that, I don't think you can find better Thai food anywhere.
The food was absolutely spectacular.
The Freshly made Spring Rolls were a delight, the crispy chicken and cashews was scrumptious and the chicken Massaman curry was utterly delicious. The friendly folks are wonderful too.
Found this place by accident while staying near by. Absolutely amazing food and bubble tea, such a friendly couple running it and they were very kind to our baby, making us feel very welcome! Couldn't find a single fault, will definitely be returning soon!
