Lovely people, super-tasty, and an absolute bargain at £6.50 for hake & chips cooked fresh to order! I hadn’t planned to eat here, but having hiked 19miles of the 1066 Country Walk from Battle, when I saw the offer in the window I couldn’t turn it down! Thank you for fitting me in before my train, I really appreciate it! 🙏 A very contented finale to my week on the coast 😊 PS - please excuse that the food is half-eaten in my photo, it was just too tempting!!

Loved it here , the people serving are always kind and accommodating. The family that own the place is lovely too. Food great as not to greasy and not too dry (I had fish and chips ) and my daughter had sausage and chips and enjoyed them too .
