Contacted the restaurant whilst walking around Penzance looking for somewhere to eat. Although it was 8.15pm and the kitchen closes at 8.45pm, they told us they would happily serve us. We got there and were greeted by 2 lovely members of staff who were so helpful and friendly, and couldn’t do enough to help us. The food was divine and if you get the opportunity to have the crab cake, do! I would highly recommend Blacks of Chapel Street and will definitely visit next time I’m in Penzance

Food was brilliant, customer service not so good more attension needed from staff to make customers feel wanted and serve their needs rather than ignored. Make sure you book a table we had to wait for an hour after the restaurant stopped serving food (say night) to be allowed to order but it was worth the wait. Will definitely come again but I hope the service will be better next time.

Very nice and chic atmosphere with welcoming staff. The food was good but tasted a bit vinegary all around. Would recommend to book in advance.
