Myself and other half were lucky enough last night to have the whole restaurant to ourselves! Incredibly personal touch by the waitress (possibly the owner, didnt catch her name!) as she sat us by the fire & answered any questions we had about the food. We went for the vegetarian platter which was absolutely stunning. We really weren’t expecting such high quality, tasty and well presented food especially as a vegetarian. Blacks is a little gem and we are so pleased we found it. Thank you to the talented chef and friendly team, we had an amazing evening.
Everything is exceptional from the wonderful staff, decor and the food just blasts the loal comp out of the water. Looking forward to many more meals there...I recommend the steak, trio of pork, seafood platter, creme brulee and lemon posset. Thanks blacks your rocking it! X
Came here for a meal with my parents on Saturday night, having never visited before. From the offset we were more than impressed with the service, with the front of house employees being attentive and efficient. The three of us each had three courses, which were all faultless. The food and drinks arrived rapidly, and the food really was very well presented and cooked - not to mention very reasonably priced! Safe to say, we shall be returning in the future and cannot recommend the place highly enough.
