After a fantastic tour at the Penderyn distillery, we decided to have lunch at the Red Lion Inn. Our luck put us by the cozy fireplace, and the dishes we ordered were not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious.
This charming, centuries-old country pub is nestled on a quaint country road, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The friendly staff served us with a smile, and we savored every bite of our meal, knowing it was made from locally sourced ingredients. The menu featured a variety of drink options to complement the flavorful dishes.
While some might find a few menu items a tad on the pricey side, I personally believe that the superior quality of the food, combined with the delightful ambiance, justifies the cost. An excellent choice for those who appreciate good food in a delightful setting.
A lovely old cosy country pub, tucked away up a narrow country road. We stopped for lunch here today after experiencing zip world tower. Friendly service and delicious food, made with locally sourced ingredients. Plenty of different drink options too. Some of the food options may be deemed a little pricey by some, but personally I don't mind paying a bit more for good quality food, and enjoying it in a wonderful setting.
The best food and customer service around South Wales. I pride myself on visiting small gastro pubs that use quality ingredients to make signatures dishes. The menu is always a delightful surprise when we arrive and I always push the boat to try something new because the chef is fabulous. If you have booked here you are missing out. The owners went above and beyond to help us when our van got a puncture. Could ask for more from them. My wife even recieved a birthday card.
Cant wait to go back!! J and A Jones
