I moved to the village recently and am exploring the various pubs and coffee shops. The Old Post House is nearest so tried that first. Interesting selection of well cooked food and good coffee to boot. The owners and staff are equally lovely, a joy to visit.

The best thing to happen to Parbold! This new café and bar is a real gem. Lovely owners will give you the best welcome and friendly staff. It has a really fantastic Tapas menu plus daily main course specials gives you choice for any tastes and all comes with home made love. Plus they have a very well curated wine menu and indeed a small bar full of local gin's. Firm favourite!

Lovely cafe, lovely food and lovely staff. The kids sandwiches could be a bit smaller and come with veg sticks or fruit or something extra but it's great fresh food and reasonable price. Definitely recommend.
