Fresh scones and lovely pot of tea... My only criticism would be the lack of clotted cream. It was enough for one scone but you had to eek it to use on two. Think it might have been the end of their day and the dregs left , but it was still enjoyable and would go again!
Place was lovely inside, and clean and friendly too.
A very nice cafe. Not far from the interesting parish Church, although in an unprepossessing local shopping area, this Victorian themed cafe provided us with a very nice lunch of freshly made sandwiches and the excellent Russian caravan tea. The menu is not extensive but will cater for your needs for a light lunch or tea. A couple of minor points could be improved: a greeting when we enter (no other customers) would have been nice, the requested glass of water could be brought much more promptly, and a choice of salad dressing would be good - or at least a warning that it's honey and mustard (far too sweet for me). But I'll go back here if I am in the area again.
What a wonderful find. Lovely food, fabulous coffee and such a wide variety of teas. Combined with the décor and the lovely friendly staff we had a experience never too forget. Never change your standards.
