Popped in for lunch yesterday, didn’t think to book - should have as busy - but was fitted in lovely table in the bar. Lovely menu choices and daily specials. There were four of us and we all commented on how big the portion sizes were and the food was delicious- we shared a starter of goats cheese salad and then we had burgers, lamb and the turkey ham pie. Fabulous meal and price ! Defo will return again !

Enjoyed a superb meal at The Lion last evening. The food was stunning, well cooked, beautifully presented and so tasty! The serving staff both in the restaurant and bar were polite and attentive. I highly recommend that you give The Lion a try.

Fantastic meal yesterday compliments to he chef. Went home stuffed. The staff were amazing so calm and nothing too much trouble. It's the best place I have eaten in years and will be back. The food was just so yummy cooked to perfection.
