Phoned to book a place for motorhome stopover, landlord answered phone no problem just book in at the bar on arrival. Called in to have a meal later on food was lovely nothing was to much trouble for the staff also it was lovley how regular customer spoke to us and made us welcome. Will definitely call in when passing in the area. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience 😊.

We had an excellent meal in the Narrowboat Inn on Saturday evening, good quality food and a great atmosphere. We had a medical issue on Sunday morning and needed to get to a hospital a 30 minute drive away and as we were on a narrowboat we needed a cab, the pub were very helpful and gave us 6 cab firms, none of which could help! Chris from the pub took us to the hospital and came back later to pick us up when we failed to find a cab for the return journey. They went above and beyond the call and we can't thank them enough for their help and would recommend The Narrowboat Inn wholeheartedly. Brian & Martin

Visited this pub on the last night of a 3 day canal boat trip. The setting was amazing and while we only had a few drinks, we were very impressed by the friendly and accomodating service offered by the lovely landlord. Thanks for the cheese 😁

Excellent meals, highly suggest eating here if you go on a narrow-boat. The service was impeccable, just beautiful.

We stopped here for drinks and lunch on a long canal walk. The building and outdoor area isn’t anything write home about, but the food was very very tasty and the staff friendly and very welcoming. Nice place.
