Hosted a Baby Shower here on Saturday and cannot express how accommodating The staff were. Dan was very flexible and encouraged us to decorate, provide a playlist that he played through the function room sound system, he allowed us to go in early before the booking to decorate too.
There is plenty room for a sit down occasion or a full disco/dj party.
A back door leads out to the garden and a separate area too.
The room has plenty of sockets and a bar, buffet food is an option too.
Had an amazing time and everyone complimented on the venue and how quaint, country-feel yet quirky it was.

Quite small pub, but well run & staff were friendly also it's got a nice beer garden!!!
Great little 'local' pub, by which I mean it has all the positives of a community pub but it welcoming to everyone. Good selection of drinks all served with a definite smile and a warm welcome and at reasonable prices. Sunday Roast is absolutely exceptional, delicious and big portions. Staff and customers always seem happy to be there.
A pleasant family gathering for Sunday lunch at the cricketers, Orpington. Food good and very friendly and efficient staff.

We’ve been here a couple of times now and really enjoyed the whole experience. Sunday roasts are amazing and last time we went on 09/07/2022, it was a beautiful evening with a live singer and we sat outside. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the pub is situated in beautiful surroundings.
