It was an amazing experience. Great staff, lovely environment, and world-class food.
The duck breast special was phenomenal; duck, sauce, croquettes & charred vegetables - everything was exceptional and beautifully presented.
Even the coffee at the end was great.
A quietly rustic place with plenty of ambiance. We were seated promptly upon arrival and drink orders were taken as we sat. The wife had the prawn and pork belly starter. It was a perfectly combination of flavours and textures. For the mains, she had the delicious filet while I pushed the boat out and had the duck breast with maricino cherry sauce topped with popcorn. It's a playful dish that jumps from sweet to salty in such a way that you say mmm with every bite. This is a wonderful place with a well deserved reputation. Great service, outstanding food and a lovely night.
A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. The Boston filet was very good. So too was the crème brûlée. Excellent présentation.
