First time at ''Barra Berries' and had the most fantastic afternoon tea with friends. Amazing home cooked savouries and mouth watering cakes and lots of lovely fresh strawberries.... We didn't have room for the cakes so have taken them home for later! Really lovely staff - especially Dougie who looked after us. Would highly recommend and will be back again!

Went for afternoon tea today which I understand is a new venture for the shop. Served by Dougie and he was brilliant!! So so friendly, informative and an excellent host. Having been at many places in the north east for afternoon tea we can genuinely place it to the top of the ranks with other well known establishments. The fresh strawberries mixed into the afternoon tea are a superb addition. The fine pieces were locally made and decadent, the sandwiches and warm pastries were INCREDIBLE. the array of treats available was a brilliant mix and we loved every minute and every bite. Thanks dougie. And thanks everyone at Barra. 100% be back!! Xxxx
