We have stayed here numerous times in the last few months. The rooms are warm, quiet tastefully decorated and the beds are massive and exceptionally comfortable. We have tried the dinners and breakfasts served in the Boathouse which are both served in generous portions and are great value for money... The home-made steak pie was fantastic! The staff are friendly and helpful and always go out of their way to make us and our four year old son feel at home. We live in the Hebrides and have tried most of the hotels and B&Bs in Oban over the years and we cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The Rockport Hotel is a great place to stay to explore the city of Oban on foot; public parking nearby is free 6 PM to 9 AM. The rooms are comfortably sized and the bathrooms cozy, but just right for a place to relax. Reasonably priced and well taken care of.

1 more star is for the location: Oban is a stunning haven with lots of things to do and see: from fish to scotch without forgetting the wonderful landscape. The hotel is OK, it also has a pub, the rooms are large and clean
